PRI: Procurement Readiness Index

The PRI is a composite score (0–100) that synthesizes six dimensions of operational readiness. Each company profile reflects the most recent verified assessment.

Six dimensions

Deployment Reality (25%)
Evidence of real-world deployment: installations, customer use, and observable operational footprint.
Commercial Traction (20%)
Evidence of market validation: paying customers, revenue generation, and commercial viability signals.
Technical Maturity (15%)
Assessment of technical depth: product stability, architecture quality, and engineering team capability.
Supply Chain Resilience (15%)
Ability to source materials, manage vendor relationships, and sustain production under constraint.
Financial Durability (15%)
Financial health: runway, profitability trajectory, access to capital, and burn rate sustainability.
Execution Momentum (10%)
Pace and consistency of delivery: shipping velocity, team execution, and ability to deliver roadmap.

Confidence grades

Each dimension carries a confidence grade reflecting evidence volume and recency:

A
Multiple verified evidence records from primary sources; strong signal confidence.
B
Corroborated reports; moderate confidence; limited to reported signals.
C
Single reports or claimed signals; lower confidence; needs corroboration.
D
Insufficient evidence; a dimension at D confidence prevents composite publication until corrected.

Provisional rule

A company's composite is published only after: ≥5 verified evidence records, no dimension at confidence D, and approval by a second analyst — until then only dimensions and confidence grades are shown.

This conservative gate ensures published composites reflect genuine operational readiness, not early speculation.

Source tiers

Evidence is tiered by source reliability:

T1: Filing
Regulatory filings, official announcements, press releases, and SEC filings. Highest confidence.
T2: Reported
Credible third-party reporting: industry publications, analyst reports, and news coverage.
T3: Claimed
Company claims, marketing materials, and claimed achievements. Requires corroboration.

Score auditing

Every score row carries scorer, approver, and timestamp. The scoring history is append-only, creating a transparent audit trail of how each company's composite has evolved and who has verified it. This prevents retroactive tampering and enables traceability of all assessments.
