About The Robot Economy

Weekly, verified intelligence on the companies, machines and money of the robot economy.

What we publish

The Robot Economy publishes verified intelligence on the robot economy: the humanoids, mobile robots, arms, cobots and drones being built and deployed, the components and software under them, and the capital and supply chains around them. Every story starts from a record we can point at — a filing, a deployment, a signal, a relationship — and cites it.

  • Robotics Weekly, free edition — People, Products, Projects and Plans: founders, machines, deployments and the week's most interesting developments. Free, every Monday.
  • Robotics Weekly, paid edition — Everything in the free edition plus the Brief: public companies, capital, technical developments, supply chains, analysis. Every Monday. Paid subscription.

The editor

Rich Randolph, Editor, The Robot Economy, sets the editorial line and is the person to write to when a story needs correcting.

How a claim gets verified

Every factual claim carries a source mark: Verified or Filing for a primary source we have read, Reported for credible third-party reporting we name and link, Claimed for a company's own statement that is not yet corroborated. Scores follow the PRI methodology: a composite is published only after enough verified evidence, no dimension at the lowest confidence, and a second analyst's approval.

The platform

The Robot Economy is also the robot economy intelligence platform behind the company dossiers, the Procurement Readiness Index and the verified record the newsletters draw on.
